Potassium hydroxide flake, also known as caustic potash, is a white, odourless solid with the chemical formula KOH. It is a highly basic substance that is used in a variety of industrial applications. Potassium hydroxide is soluble in water and absorbs moisture from the air. It is a strong alkali and is often used in the production of detergents, soaps, and other cleaning agents. It is also used in the manufacturing of potassium-based chemicals and fertilizers, as well as in the processing of food and textiles. Additionally, it is used in the production of biodiesel and in the refining of crude oil.
