With Mother’s Day approaching, what better way to celebrate than with our DIY Science blogs. Our Crystal Flowers are the perfect way to have a long lasting gift.
You Will Need:
- Borax
- Water
- Jars
- Pencil
- String
- Sellotape
- Pipe Cleaners
Step 1
Mould your pipe cleaners into a flower bouquet.
Step 2
To make the Borax solution, add 3-4 tablespoons of Borax into water. Stir until nearly dissolved.
STEP 3
Hang the pipe cleaner flower bouquet into the jar so that the pencil rests on top of the jar. This should be completely covered with liquid and hang freely. **Please note the flower bouquet should not touch the bottom of the jar**
Step 4
Allow the flower bouquet to set overnight.
Step 5
After being left overnight, remove from the liquid.
Your flower bouquet is now ready!
