You Will Need:
- Coconut Oil
- Comb
- Small Bottle with Oil Nozzle
- Isopropanol Alcohol 90-91%
- Pliers
STEP 1
Gather your supplies. See above.
STEP 2
Soak hair overnight with a protein enriched conditioner for example coconut oil.
STEP 3
Wash all out conditioner and/or oil from hair.
STEP 4
Comb hair so there are no tangles.
STEP 5
Use a Small Bottle and Oil Nozzle and place a drop of alcohol on each bond. While it is still wet press down on the bond with pliers, approx: 6 gentle squeezes. Do not try to break this bond apart at this stage.
STEP 6
Add another drop of the remover, leave and continue this process with the rest of the bonds. Just drop, squeeze, drop, and move on. Do not attempt to pull any out yet.
STEP 7
Keep all bonds moist as you work. Repeat the cycle continuing around the head and then back to the beginning after two to three passes and it has soaked for a bit.
STEP 8
Add a drop of the remover, press a few times, gently, and then try to slide the extensions off. If the extension doesn’t come off easy, leave and come back. You will notice the bond expanding and turning white as the solvent begins to work.
